TTC in May anyone?

Hello ladies! We will be TTC baby #1 in the beginning of May! It's so exciting and nerve wracking :)

Hello Katielynn, were also working on baby #1! Were on 4 months of TTC! Hopefully this is baby making month!! 👶

Hello meepers! Where are you in your cycle? I'm on day 21. I got a positive opk on April 30th so I o'd in the very beginning of May. Currently in the TWW! I will probably try my first test on Mother's Day although it will most likely be too early... But that would be such an amazing surprise to get a BFP on Mother's Day! :)

Hey. How are we all?
My opk said day 6 I ovulated which is do early but then I was late with totm so I'm all confused.. I think we will just get on it most nights and see what happens lol x

Hi all!
I think I am tww with a week left to wait before test. I have been a bit inconsistent with my charting and did not confirm an ovulation this month, so I could be totally off here. But, it only takes once, and I am trying to stay hopeful. I have been NTNP for 10 years and TTC for about 7 months. No success yet, but... we'll see.

I have no idea what my bbt is doing. Blood and urine tests are back for us, as is my ultrasound but we won't know anything until our appointment tomorrow.

I'm out. AF arrived today :( On to our third cycle ttc after the mc.

I think this month were going with everyday from cd10 till cd19. I'm not sure if it'll make any difference but It's worth a shot. I'll definitely be checking in to see what others say, I clearly need help.

We are on our first cycle ttc. Still waiting to o but still trying to bd every other day. Crazy but so want it to happen this cycle as you concentrate so much on it every day, thinking about what day, what you need to do, taking vitamins, opks.... I really can't imagine how I might feel 6 or 7 months down the line and ladies, for those of you who have been trying a long time, absolutely hats off to you, you are strong women. Baby dust xx

I'm new to using forums, so I'm not sure I've done this right... But, anyway, I'm on CD 1 and start 100 mg clomid tomorrow (CD2-6). I'm really nervous about it- I've taken 50 mg for two cycles already. Are any of y'all on clomid? Do you know if 50 mg versus 100 mg make much of a difference with symptoms? May sounds like a wonderful month to make a baby... Hoping and praying!

hi linzalora

What's Clomid? I am a beginner too and heard people talking about this but not sure what it is or if I need to be doing this too lol

Hey Nelly! Clomid is a drug that basically tricks your body into ovulating. You should not need this medication unless you have a condition that is preventing you from ovulating.

I have PCOS, a condition where, amongst other not-so-lovely symptoms, I may not ovulate without help. Hence, my doctor prescribed me clomid, but when I take it, it messes with me. I feel like I'm emotionally out of control. Upping the dosage is scary to me. Hopefully it'll all be worth it in the end, though, right?

Well... AF showed her ugly face yesterday so I'm out for April, will be trying again in a few weeks! FXed for all of you!

:dust:

Ah I see thanks for that. YEP it willllll be worth it ☺️👍🏻if it's any help I am always an emotional wreck around O 😤😤amoungest everything else.

Cx - sorry to hear that, bloody witch😔 baby dust for u for next month 👍🏻

So i am 3dpo shattered tired, high temps, insomnia last night & loss of appetite but get this every month so hoping that the TWW will bring diff sort of symptoms and no AF 😂 what's everyone's else state of play?

I've read in other posts that it's best to BD every other day so that your man can build up enough swimmers to get to the egg. I'm sure you'd be fine doing it everyday too, but he just won't produce as much each time.

EDIT: this is for posts I saw on the previous page, sorry!

I've also read in multiple places that every other day is better than every day, I've read that every day can actually lessen your chances because there isn't enough time for quality swimmers to build up.

So I feel like I am going crazy. My husband and I have not been trying but we have not been trying to prevent it either. This last cycle it so happened to of occurred two days before I ovulated and since O day I have had some weird symptoms. Most likely all in my head but I feel different. Please help my symptoms can be found below.

days leading up to O- increased CM more than usual and crampy.
O day (Friday)- normal O cramps, and randomly bleeding gums(we were driving and I had the taste of blood in my mouth and looked in the mirror and part of my gum was bleeding weird)
1DPO- nothing really, a little tired and one time I cried without reason.
2DPO- crampy, constipated, had a dizzy spell At breakfast had chorizo and eggs everything was going fine until halfway through eating I took a bite and I wanted to vomit...I had to spit it out. Went to babies R us to get a shower gift for a friend wanted to cry... Was tired wanted to take a nap, and had a vivid dream about having a baby that night.
3DPO- overly exhausted, bawled my eyes out over texting my husband a text that was meant for my sister, increased urination, and diarrhea random feeling of nausea, slight headache, twinges in uterus.

I know it seems too early to be showing these many symptoms that I feel like it is all in my head. But I also just do not feel myself.

What does everyone think?

Fertility Friend said I ovulated about 4 days ago, but I did get twinging ovulation pain at 1dpo and then increased libido. Haven't noticed any EWCM, so not sure if I actually ovulated already or if it just wasn't on the correct day. Ugh, so frustrating.

Most people say every other day, but I like to pounce whenever I feel like it.
