I am on CD 13. (Two hours till 14 :/)

Im 22 and have pcos and my Dr is giveing me two years before its serious.
So we decided to TTC before fertility treatments and surgery come to play.

This is my first month off of birth control which I was taking to help with pain. I took Soy isoflavones CD 4-8 140mg. Along with folic and vitamins. My sister who has been TTC for 5 years tried this and got pregnant first shot. She said that it can make you ovulate later than normal.

I have been useing the Dollar Tree choice opk tests. I have heard they don't give a positive till the few hour period when you get the LH spike before ovulation happens instead of gradual build up.

But I am so confused with the results I'm getting and worried maybe they won't work when the time comes. (Silly I know) . I have been haveing ovarian pain since last night (I can tell the difference between cyst bursts and ovulation usually). It's getting a bit pinchy on the right side. As well as my EWCM has shown up and increased today (stretches about an inch). It's still a bit clumpy so I'm hopeing O has not happened and the pain is just my follicles building up nice and healthy.

Any suggestions? I'm worried the test will fail me, has anyone used these? O build up pain or actual O? Am I just being crazy?

Sorry about writing so much I'm just worried. I have a condition that makes baby dancing painfull so I only want to do it when the time is best.

Your body will take time to adjust from coming off the pill. Non of those tests look positive to me. Make sure your testing 2 time's a day so you dont miss your surge

Definitely keep testing. I have PCOS too and on my first round of Clomid my opk's looked just like that at that time. Same symptoms, too, but turns out I didn't get a positive until CD 19. So your body could be trying to gear up to ovulate (hence the faint lines) but you just haven't yet.

Second cycle on Clomid I got my positive OPK on CD 16, and since I knew I would probably ovulate later this time (I think we depleted his supply the first time because we timed our intercourse as if I were ovulating on day 15, so by the time I did ovulate and we tried we didn't get pregnant) so we timed it much better and I got my bfp a few days ago!

My best advice- don't give up. Keep getting to know your body and make sure you have a doctor that is for you not against and willing to do what it takes to help you!

Good luck!

I have pcos- coming off the pill it took 4 months and I still hadn't ovulated- the doc had to give meds to help.
While on the pill your ovaries are "suspended" so u don't just go bang 28 day cycle following on from the pill! You'll have your withdrawal bleed and then it could be a few months
