Just had a lap/dye monday and was told i only had my left tube and ovary, no right tube and the right ovary is small. There was endo behind my left ovary but that was removed.

Is anyone else ttc with something similar?

I would love to start a new thread for support :)

I have something similar. I had a HSG on monday and was told that I have hydrosalpinx on my right tube but my left tube looks OK. Im now waiting till Dec to go back to hospital to speak to infertility consultant and so have a long wait..... thats of course after 2+ years of ttc! Im not even sure of the next step tbh and feeling very down about the whole thing :(

i know how you feel hun. Before i went in i would never have thought that there would only be one working tube and ovary. I have done alot of research and whilst alot of it says that you can still conceive with only one provided the other is working fine, my mind is just working overtime and i cant help but feel so lost about the whole situation. I am just waiting for a letter to come through so i can speak to my fs consultant to speak about the results and what she thinks is the next best step.

It gets a bit more complicated though. We are moving in dec so i will have to re-register with another doctors and go through the system again to get into another fs clinic.

I just feel sooooo tired and deflated about everything.

Where bouts are you hun? I'm in the UK.

Im in Wales laustiredttc, so going through the whole NHS route. Actually, I was supposed to have my HSG last week through the NHS but when I phoned to book it on the first day of my period, they hadn't even had the referral form even though it had been 3 weeks! When I finally got another one sent, they didnt have any appointments left so told me to wait till next month... and the lady was surprised when I told her I was gutted!? So my impatient streak flared up and I had it done privately.... and the cost of £399! But I just couldnt wait any longer. So Im tempted to have another one next month anyway, through the NHS, just to see if the results are the same as I have read about tubes going into spasm etc. However, I think thats a long shot :(
I hope your letter comes through soon. Are you moving a big distance away? Cant you keep in the same hospital?

wow thats alot of money!! I know what you mean about being impatient. I rang up today to get my blood results for cd3 which were fine thank goodness! But she said that my next app wouldnt be until feb 7th. I was like, 'WTH'!!!!!!!!!! Anyway i explained to her my circumstances and she has now booked me in for nov 29th. Still a month away but thats better than feb so i'm happy.

I am moving to colchester in essex. My dh is in the forces, so we have to move around quite a bit which is a nightmare when going through fertility clinics as i have to re-register every time. Slowly but surely getting there.

I hope when you go hun everything is fine and if not they get it sorted for you. I swear there is nothing more frustrating than this ttc journey :hugs:
