Hi everyone! I'm new to this site. I just found out last week that both of my tubes are blocked at the ovaries after ttc for almost a year. I'm really disappointed but I'm still hopeful that I'll be able to have a baby. I'm 33 years old and I'm in the Army so my life is pretty fast paced and hectic. I'm about to deploy again but my Dr and I discussed fimrioplasty microsurgery for after I get back. My Dr. said I only have a 20% chance of it working and that the odds are the same with in vitro. I figure I'll get the surgery and if I'm not pregnant in 6 months after that I'll try in vitro if I can get on a waiting list. I really don't know how it works in the states. I've been in Germany for 6 years but I know the Army doesn't pay for it. I'm going to do my microsurgery here then we're moving back to the states. Does anyone else have tubes blocked at the ovaries? If so what were some of the recommendations made to you? Thanks for your help.
