I didn't know where to ask this
but I was just wondering, can you put a condenser tumble dryer next to a fridge? both will be under the counter in the kitchen. my mum said you can't because of the heat?
thanks in advance x

My freezer is next to my washer/dryer and it's fine. I have a gap of about 2 cm inbetween them.

my tumble dryer is on top of my freezer!! and theyre both fine. i have very limited space in my flat if your wondering haha thank god were moving!!

thanks so much girls, next to the fridge is my only option so i'm very relieved! I wish I had a bigger house :(

You can put them next to each other, but the fridge will have to work a lot harder when the dryer is hot from being used, so you might find your electric bills are a bit higher, and in the long run your fridge may have a shorter life.

Should be fine hun, however blahblahblah is right. I have a condenser and they do definately throw off a lot of heat so the fridge will have to work harder. Make sure you defrost your fridge regularly and make sure the inside of the fridge is cold enough and that nothing is going off, as you may have to turn the temperature down in the fridge xxxx
