I have found that I have only used one of the bouncy chairs and one swing. I purchased one excersaucer/jumpy thing to use and two Bumbo's, one play mat (they both fit under the one I got) and two Boppy pillows (life savers for me). I clean bottles twice a day, morning and night - (but quick rinse them out and keep them in a big bowl in the sink after each feed until I get around to cleaning them). I have 14 small bottles and the Tommee Tippee Electric Sterilizer (holds 6 at a time to clean).
I use the Tommee Tippee bottle warmer too because it doesn't "automatically" shut off like some of the other ones on the market. The ones that auto shutoff you can't use to warm a second bottle for like 10 minutes until it cools down, which you don't want to do if you have to warm TWO bottles!! For the girls bottles, I warm the first bottle for like 3 to 3:30 (they are at 4 ounces now) and and the second I take off about 30-45 seconds (since the water is already warmed up) and then I turn the thing off (by unplugging it).
During the day at home, they stay in mostly onsies and socks (but it is warm here). In the winter they will wear the one piece sleepers with attached feet.
I TOTALLY agree with the swaddling blankets...whatever kind you get. We use the Kiddopotomas ones (also called SwaddleMe) and I also have a couple of Woombies (easy to use zip up swaddlers) but they are more expensive. The girls sleep SOOOO much longer when swaddled!!
Another must have is a good thermometer. I don't know how many times I have used this thing, but I have used it a lot to make sure they are ok!! Helps ME feel better at least!! And, I will say get some Mylicon (gas drops) for when they are fussy. It's all natural and helps the gas go away in their tummies.
