TWW and Surgery

Hi everyone!

Its been a while since I have been on here.. took a break from posting as I was finding it stessfull over and above everything else going on.

So today I am officially 1dpo... I just got a call from the hospital saying that my surgery has been scheduled for next Tuesday (Feb 17th). This would make me 8dpo...

What I am wondering is how would having surgery affect my chances of conceiving?

We DTD Feb 8 and 9, so the day before and day of ovulation... We have been trying for 14 months now. We really want this but I also need to surgery...

What do you think? Can I just count this month out now so would I be ok?

I am having surgery on my jaw. Will be under anaesthetic for roughly an hour or so

I would just call doctors office that you are getting the surgery with and ask that is there is a chance if you are pregnant will anything they are doing effect anything. Sorry I'm not that much help!
