So I got swabbed yesterday and sure enough, I got the flu. I called my ob and they prescribed tamiflu for me. She mentioned some weird side effects of this and said if I stop urinating to go to the er. Last week we had a scare with low amniotic fluid. Can the flu affect that at all? I was scheduled for a scan today but they don't wanna see you if you're sick and my appt was moved to Tuesday. Thanks in advance for anyone that may know anything.

I got the flu in my 30th week. It wasn't too bad. However, my heart rate went up - supposedly a side effect of the flu. I had to stay super hydrated to avoid any contractions and to bring my heart rate down. Keep a glass of water with you at allllll times!!

Thanks. Already under strict instructions to drink a minimum of 100oz of water daily with no soda to keep the fluid level where it needs to be.
