A question for ladies from the UK  We will be starting to TTC within the next 2 months and its got me thinking about my labour next time. Last time I gave birth in Greece where things are so much more medicalised and didn't like it one bit. The idea of a birth centre sounds great to me but I was wondering does everything have to be super straight-forward for me to be allowed to birth there? Last time, I was borderline diabetic so was put on a strict diet and I had mild IUGR and K was born at exactly 36 weeks. . . I'm worried they'll want be to be under consultant care and how this may affect my birthing options. Any ideas?

Thank you for reading! :flower:

I was put under consultant care 2nd time due to IUGR in first pregnancy - I was discharged from the consultant at 32 weeks due to growing at a good rate

Thats very reassuring! Thank you! And glad all went well 2nd time round!
