Uk election

I never take my card or ID. Never knew you had to

I won't be voting as my card didn't arrive to new address. First time ever!

Please go and vote, Midnight Fairy, you don't need a polling card to vote as far as I know.

I feel everything is getting blacker and blacker.

I feel sick. 24 hours until we get the results.

I've never taken my poll card or Id to vote. As long as your registered at your new address you can vote.

Please, please go out and use your vote today girls, preferably for labour but please use your vote.

I am terrified of the outcome.

Me too hun. Just praying people will vote and Labour get in.

I just voted labour, no ID or card needed.

Just voted! Took 10 seconds, even took the kids with me, Connor has been learninh about it at school and wanted to come. So don't let no childcare stop you either!

I had someone come and ask to add me to electoral register...but have not received a card or anywhere telling me where to go. So do you think I can go?

Go along, if they say no then at least you've tried x

It says on my polling card that I don't need it anyway, just go along. Surely trying and succeeding is better than not going at all!

I used to think this too and I would post on FB how bad it was not to vote....but...neither me or my OH have FB. We do not have a Tv, we do not read the news and only hear radio in the car. I have no idea what is going on! While I agree that I do need to, it's done my mental health and family life wonders being away from it. I do agree voting is important though, but I am starting to understand both side.

I haven't got a card. I just went to the local polling station, told them my name and address and voted. Hope they let you, it is worth a try :)

I know you do not need card but you have to be registered at your new address. X

I understand you don't have a TV or read the news but a quick google search finds you all of the manifestos and what each party is standing for. TV and newspapers are horrendous for being biased so I've not solely relied on either.

Each to their own, though!

I've voted this morning :happydance:

I will be voting Labour. There isn't anything on this earth that could sway me towards the Conservatives. They aren't for the people, they are for the rich. They have done nothing but destroy this country and continuously blame Labour despite the fact they have now had years to improve things. They are irresponsible imo and only represent a minority in this country. Our NHS and education system are far too important as well to throw away at the hands of narrow minded, thoughtless Tory plans. They don't understand people, they simply cannot connect to average people. They only connect within their own social class and this doesn't represent the majority of the UK. Most people aren't born with a silver spoon... and I cannot connect to someone, or a party who promotes cruelty to animals, cruelty to vulnerable people, cuts to police, NHS, screwing over our education system, poverty, using terrorism to scrap the human rights act and essentially keeping the rich rich and the poor, poor. Labour all the way

I didn't even know there was an election till I saw it here LOL. I used to follow it avidly and my parents both sat for local parties. Now I don't even know what's going on in the world. It's kinda nice. I know it's important. ..but I can see why people do no take part. I see how annoying it is when people do not as well.

I voted Green. I wanted to vote lib dem but didn't have the option.🤔

Wasn't never going to vote Tory but would vote labour if the party were to change and split into 2. So I attempted a tactical vote!
