I know hospitals and Drs offices can be busy and hectic, however, this Drs office seems to be very inconsiderate of my time and somewhat uncaring. I had an appointment last week for 1:30 pm, I arrived at 1:15 and waited until 2:15 to get up and remind them that I was there! I then waited an additional 15 minutes only to be told that I would have to see a midwife (I was there to see the Drs only)
I saw the midwife again yesterday and she's older, very old school (isn't my preference) and was kind of in a rush and got irritated with every question I had, so I requested once again to only be scheduled with the Drs from now on.
Afterwards I went over to the hospital to get checked because the baby's movements decreased but she was fine. The L&D part of the hospital was filthy! The gown one of the nurses gave me Stunk. The front desk where I had to sign in, they were eating food that had the worst smell to it and the desk was cluttered and gross. The women behind the desk were ghetto and loud talking about someone's mother or something non work related and spoke broken English. Hate to be judge mental but it says a lot about the professionalism of the hospital when you hire folks who talk using slang and broken English. It was just not at all what I'm use to. This is a city hospital and I'm use to the county. But I can't use the hospital I would normally use because it's too far.
I'm 29 weeks along now and I'm wondering if it's too late to try to go through an interview process/find another OB...? I don't want to feel rushed looking for another OB and then end up in the same situation
So stressful
