I thought the book was a slow burner so expecting the series to be the same. Will give it a couple of weeks before deciding.

I know Jeff Fahey is only credited for two episodes so that's a bit sad as I think he's a fab actor - I think the pacemaker incident pretty much makes his character a write off! I thought it was okay, will keep watching for a few more eps to really give it a chance.

Anyone persevered with this? I have, but think the latest episode will be my last one I watch. I just haven't really been able to get into it. Its a bit of a slow burner which I never do too well with - gave up on Lost after a season.

I personally love this series, bur im a freak for stephen king series (tv/movies, his books are too much for me lol) this one just keeps getting better mrsbutterfly i find it funny you brought up you dont like this one and couldnt get through lost, im rewatching that whole series now lmao. Guess im a nerd! Love these weird scifi type shows!

I'm a lover of weird sci-fi too but same as pps, it's a bit slow and doesn't grip me as much as I thought it would. Compared to Revolution, Sky's latest sci-fi offering, it's nowhere near as good. On the subject of Lost, I watched it from start to finish last year, thought it was great til the end. Not sure what I expected the end to be but that definitely wasn't it! Xx

I know the end sucks to lost! I loved the whole series til then. I wish they would have done a separate ending where the doctor from doctor who came and fixed the island! That would have been great!

i gave up after 3 episodes (watched some on cokeandpopcorn).. thought some of the acting was rubbish! i think people who read the book (i didnt) found it dissappointing too
