Unequal pupils in my 2 month old baby

Hum, hopefully someone will come along who has some experience with this! My mind immediatly jumps to all manner of horrible things

Yeah me too! I went straight to a and e. over that weekend I was there 3 times cos I was sure they weren't cin what I was... One point I was told I was cin things! Because of my anxiety I was crying like crazy thinkin it was something terrible. Apparently here In South Shields is wrong to be worried about your child. The doctor told me he was more concerned with me!!

Well, we all know what doctors in Newcastle can be like! I live over the water but they are just as insensitive here. From what other people have said, aslong as he seems ok in himself its probably just one of those things don't stress too much, but if you feel something is wrong, don't feel silly for asking them to investigate further x

It's worse than Newcastle, I'm in shields! Haha. He is, such a happy lil lad. It's me with the problem with it really, haha. Just not havin proppa answers is annoying. Guess its a mam thing eh ha. X

Haha Irish, is it really noticeable in the light aswell... Dexters sort of goes down to equal size. Only just slightly bigger.

Yep! If you look at my eyes at anytime you can notice it! It's caused me no problems at all, I don't wear glasses & rarely have migraines (when pregnant)

I'm pleased it hasnt caused any problems... Have u got a name for what it's called? Ooo I had headaches everyday with my first big man. Second time around I didn't get 1. Has your baba got unequal pupils... They say it can run other family? None of our family has it like.

Honestly, I've never even considered getting them checked as I've never been concerned. I think they're so obvious as my eyes are very blue. No idea if theres a name for it! My lo doesn't have uneven pupils but his eyes are very dark as my husband is mixed race.

I wouldn't have thought you'd have anything to worry about with your son. Can you promise me one thing though?? When he's 18 & comes home a bit worse for wear, don't Google signs of drug use and then make him spend 40 minutes doing the tests because Google tells you uneven pupils is a sign!! If I can just save one drunken young person from this then your thread will have been worthwhile
