Unexplained infertility.... 5 failed IUI's...what's a girl to do?

I'm on cd 15...I usually ovulate on cd 12 or 13 so i'm guessing i'm about 2dpo. Natural cycle this month while we are waiting. The new RE won't do femara or clomid at this point since I ovulate on my own. She said after a certain number of cycles on them it actually begins to hurt your chances instead of help them, so anything from here on out will have to be natural or injections.

It's not weird at all to be interested At this point, i'm praying for them to come back showing something. I'm going to be gutted if it shows 'normal' like everything else since i'm totally out of options. Are there any other signs (like physical signs) of high nk cells *other* than what would show in the blood test?

There seem to be a lot of success stories online with intralipids for nk cells when it is used along with IVF and that kind of worries me since we would only be doing IUI. There are no more IVFs in our future. Besides, it's not like IVF worked but we had a chemical or miscarriage. It was the same BFN we've gotten all along, so i guess in my mind, there is no reason to IVF over IUI. This is secondary infertility for me, so i know that there is the possibility of my eggs fertilizing since they did so naturally and during the IVF.

How do the intralipid cycles work timing-wise? When is the first infusion compared to what days you are doing the follistim and IUI?

I felt the same... almost hoping the results came back abnormal because then I knew there would at least be a treatment. As far as physical signs go, I am hardly ever sick. I've been that way my whole life. Also, *TMI* every time after sex I would develop an odor that lasted 2-3 days, despite showering. I thought it was normal until after my first Intralipid infusion when I realized it wasn't occurring anymore.

My doc wants me to do the infusion 5 days prior to IUI, but last cycle it was only 3 days prior to IUI. It will probably end up only being 3 days prior to IUI this cycle as well. I do the infusion with each cycle. If I end up getting a BFP, I will do one additional infusion at 5 weeks pregnant. My RE also has me take Prednisone 10mg from the day I take Ovidrel until AF arrives. If I were to get pregnant, I'm not sure if I'm supposed to continue the Prednisone, or for how long.

I've read that NK cell activity can fluctuate throughout life so perhaps when you conceived your first child the activity was in the normal range. Have you read or heard of any studies regarding Intralipids with IUI or only with IVF?
