Unread posts amount reduced all of a sudden

When I clicked 'unread posts' in the past it has given me 20 pages of unread posts to browse but all of a sudden tonight it has reduced to ten pages which tends to only be an hour or so's worth of posts. Is there any reason it has reduced and is there any way of increasing it again?

Haha ok thanks, glad it's not just me! Thought I was going mad

I've put it back. I did it the other day after a server reboot (just while the server loads leveled out).
