unusally strong kicks very early????

Hi Ladies,

I am 18.5 weeks now (19 on wednesday), and I've been feeling my little monster for the past week, starting at 17.5

Everyone told me to start feeling for flutters or bubbles, and I'd been patiently awaiting these little things. OH was off to a hockegame with the bestfriend one evening, and out of nowhere i'd felt these very strong "bumps" from inside. a few mins later, the same thing. I'm a very small girl, so I knew I'd start feeling things a little on the early side, but this was shocking to me.

When OH came home, i'd explained what had happened, but had assumed that it wouldn't be felt from the outside for a few weeks... everyone said you can feel it inside before anyone can feel it externally

I thought, lets just try anyway, and sure enough, the kicks were so strong from the outside that OH was both startled and elated.

I've felt baby every day since. some days it's so strong it even surprises me, as I'm never expecting it. it's generally just after lunch hour at work, or later in the evening at home, though it's kicking round a little as i type, lol.

has anyone else experienced this so early on? it's incredible, and absolutely the best feeling i've ever experienced. I'm so in love!!!!

I posted something similar to this yesterday cos I have been feeling really strong kicks for the past week or so 2 and the baby is so active all the time xx

Yes hun. I did have flutters first from 14 weeks but then at19 weeks got definite kicks. The same day i felt them hubby could feel them from the outside too! I've had them every day since then and you can see my stomach jump when it happens! Like you i was only small to begin with which may be why, also my placenta is at the back. X

Yes hun my first pregnancy i had no flutters or bubbles or anything then new years day i turned 16 weeks and felt pops and it shocked me, grabbed OH's hand and he felt it too! felt it everyday since then. But this time round i felt the flutters from 10 weeks and OH only felt the baby kick a few days ago now im 18 weeks today and we can see her kickin and movin, i love it!

Me I started to be able to feel my little guy move and get kicks around 18 weeks, OH even has felt him kick once, and a few other people have felt him kick, now at almost 20 weeks his kicks have gotten a lot strong and a lot more frequent.

Thanks everyone!! its so exciting!!! we had my scan today! baby had its legs crossed at the ankles, but the tech said 60% girl! we have another one tomorrow to confirm!
