Unusual and fun decorations

Oops I have posted this twice sorry posting on my phone

Hello fellow christmas elves. We moved house this year and I want the house to be extra christmasy now i have LO. Can anyone share any fun or different decorations they have or have seen and ideas where to get them or how to make them. I have lot of things to go on the tree but want the whole house decorated

I'm getting a small Victorian style street lamp to go next to the fireplace and decorating it with holly

I really like paper chains, paper snowflakes...umm will have a think. I like traditional style.

We get loads of holly spray some black some red and leave some green (all our flat is black and red)

paper chains, snowflakes, angel or star for the tree,
xmas tree ornaments (made with beads or dough/clay)
candles are quite easy to make and decorate
spraying holly leaves, twigs etc look good too
homemade wreaths look gorgeous imo

glitter pens are also good for baubles and things



i plan on making a few things this year now emily's
older, she loves arty things so it'll be fun

Ooh cinnamon and apple decorations! A cup of cinnamon power, 3/4 cup of apple sauce and some gold glitter. Mix them up to make a dough, cut out shapes, make a hole, dry them out in the oven then hang them up with ribbon

I plan on making a gingerbread man garland too.
