So I've taken four pregnancy tests so far. I took one a week before my period was due, 3 days before my period was due, 2 days after it was due, and 4 days after it was due. (Sounds a little crazy, doesn't it?) Anyways, the first three tests came out negative. The first two didn't even have a faint line. The third one was digital, so no lines at all. However, the one I took today...:bfp:!

I am such a major mix of emotions right now. I just can't believe it. I am going to take another test tomorrow, but it's not often that there's a false positive. I'm just a little doubtful because of the three prior BFNs. I have a million questions right now, and am going to include a couple here.

- I'm terrified of telling my parents, my boyfriends parents, and my grandparents. The first time I was pregnant the police told my mom and the rest of the people found out by word of mouth. I do not have any idea how to tell them I am pregnant with my SECOND child.

- I'm not sure if I want to tell people or not yet. I know it's a good idea to wait until the first trimester is over, but I just don't think I can. Any ideas on how to keep my mouth shut about this?

- I'm going to go to the doctor ASAP. I want to know if my mom will find out about me going to the doctor. I am on a private insurance through my dad and Medicaid. Medicaid covers the doctor I went to when I was pregnant with Aiden. Will my mom ever get a bill or any information that I went to the doctor?

Overall, I am happy, but this is just so major and such a big change, I'm not sure how to handle it. I didn't actually think I would be pregnant.

Aww Congrats!! :) Your mom wont get a bill from medicaid, I dont ever get bills from medicaid and if there were to be sent out it would probably go to your dad.

congratulations! i wish the best for you and your LO :) If it was me, i would hang off from telling general people up until second trimester, but i suppose you have to tell your relatives soon. It probably never gets easier telling your parents, especially if they were taken by suprise the first time, but good luck to you. :)

Congratulations hun :D
Personally i agree with bumpandlaura about telling general people in second trimester,
hope your parents are okay with the news
xx

Thanks you guys. I really cannot keep my big mouth closed and told a few friends. But since I don't have many, it wasn't a whole lot of them. I think four. And I told my mom, my grandma, and have yet to tell my boyfriend's parents and my dad. I hope this all goes really well. I'm so scared of miscarrying. I'm just trying to keep the stress levels down, quitting smoking (since this was a huge surprise, I never thought to quit), and getting to the doctor to get prenatal vitamins and everything.
