Upload photo

I am trying to upload my photo onto my profile, get right to the end then it says it has failed, I think the photo size is wrong, any idea how to resize or make it work??? Going nuts here!!!!

I think i've read people suggesting an easier way but I go somewhere like photobucket and resize it there
