upset tummy at 36 weeks

Hi Ladies, well I have had the worst upset tummy over the last couple of days and today it has got how do you say it, explosive!!! eeek! I have heard that this is fairly normal in late pregnancy, I am worried that is is not doing baby any good, should I go to hospital tomorrow to get checked out? I dont have any vomiting so dont think it is food poisening?

I went through phase at 36wks with a funny tummy it passed within a week or so.

I had this too around 34 weeks. It lasted a couple days and I just put it down to something I ate that didn't agree with me. I was very crampy and was using the restroom a lot. If it doesn't get better in a couple more days I would get it checked out. Drink plenty of fluilds so you don't become dehydrated. Hope you feel better soon!

I'm dealing with an unhappy tummy right now. Last few days was running to the bathroom and now it's just really bad nausea. Doctor says it's nothing to worry about just now. As long as you're keeping your fluid intake up (and not just plain water but also something with electrolytes, like Gatorade or Powerade. Pedialyte would be the ideal choice, if you can find that or something like it) and you're not running a fever, you should be fine.

As always, check with your midwife/doctor if you're really worried.

It shouldn't be anything to worry about, but if you are concerned theres no harm in getting checked.

if it lasts more than 2-3 days then id say just get it checked anyway.

om my god! i had this last week.. and i mean upset tummy like i had REALLY bag gripe pains.. i thought i was going into labor it was horrrribbllleee!!! but it passed i put it down to me eating something bad but honest the pain was soo bad i was in soo much pain
