No witch for me yet. I'm going to the loo every 30 minutes in hope - but nothing yet. Only day 2 after last pill though so I should try to be more patient

LOL its not by strongest point either!!

On the temp front i guess it must have been the meds delaying the rise because there is no way i oved that day.... or the meds didn't work. I put 3 further high temps inti FF to get my cross hairs and it doesn't give them to me so hey ho god only knows whats going on!! I guess i will just have to be patient and test on the 14th if AF hasn't arrived. I'm testing trigger out of my system so i may get an actual positive before then BUT i doubt i will get one this cycle.

Possibly your higher temps earlier in the month from clomid are affecting the crosshairs? Maybe if you make the temps less certain ( I often change the time on ones that could have been affected by clomid) you'll get crosshairs.

Af finally arrived this morning!! It's only light but it definitely here!!

It does mean that day 11 (when they want to start scanning) is the Sunday of the bank holiday only I could manage that timing for the first time around lol!

I called this morning and have to start clomid tomorrow, bd over the bank holiday weekend and then go for a scan on the tues morning which will be cd 13 to see what's going on. So excited it's finally time to take the clomid!!

How are you feeling? Any symptoms? When do you think you might test? How long is your lp usually? Lol - it's like 20 questions. Keeping my fx'd for you

YAY for AF and double yay for starting the clomid! I hope you don't get too many side effects. That timing is so damn typucal isn't it - well hopefully it will be timed perfectally i had my tirgger shot CD13 so you shoud be about right!!

Well as for me i tested my trigger out and it only totally went a couple of days ago which kinda had me thinking their may have been a chance but today at 13 days past trigger i got a white as white BFN no real surprise and i know their is still a small chance as i don't think i oved until a bit later so i won't definately say i'm out untill sun/mon but its not looking at all hopeful! Hey Ho!

Consultant has said i will have to do another round like this before moving on to injectibles as typically she is away when af will arrive and its too complicated for me to go to another consultant so 1 more round then maybe injectibles or i may do nothing, save up and aybe do IVF next year.....goodness only knows LOL!

We will be near enough cycle buddies! I expect af between sat-mon

Does your chart say 9 dpo? It's a bit blurry on my screen. Maybe it's just too early? I don't want to bang on and offer false hope - I know how much that sucks when it doesn't work out. Not hoping for you're a cycle buddy just yet though

How many rounds of clomid have you had in total? Will they keep your dose the same?

I was just talking about ivf on another thread. Is that something you would consider? I haven't looked into it much but suppose it is something I might think about further down the line. Ive heard its expensive and that it's not offered on the nhs if you already have a child - but don't know much else really. Is iui an option for you? I get confused after clomid/femera options - what's the difference between clomid and injectables? are injectables used for iui?

Are you doing anything nice over the weekend to keep your mind off the tww?

Thanks hun, yes chart says 9dpo but clinic say i'm 11dpo as they say i oved 36hrs after the trigger - not sure i believe them tho! lol!! I know there is still a bit of time but you know how it is and i'm pretty sure i'm out now - infact me and hubby have to have a long chat as i'd like to buy a horse (found one i like) previous to being a mummy i was a dressage trainer and had a yard with 11 horses on!! So i'd like a horse back in my life but obviously i don't want to buy one and then be preg for 9 months SO its a really difficult decision. Hence maybe the break and IVF next yr. Injectibles can be added to clomid to make you produce more or better quality eggs or can be used on their own, both ways can be done for iui and the same meds are used in much higher doses for the IVF. I'm not eligible for either on the NHS, i think we could try iui but its £800 a go!!! However IVF is 4k a go ....cough cough!! what they do say tho is that if there are now known male factors and you ovulate with the clomid etc then there is not really much better odds doing the iui so that is why i'm not sure we would do it. I don't know really, to be honest i'm not sure where to go from here xx

Wouldn't it be nice if someone could say "it will happen - don't worry". Just to have that certainty would make everything so much easier.

Sounds exciting to have a horse. I've never had one but I used to ride when I was younger.

The other options still sound a bit befuddling - I think it's just because I'm not that familiar with them. £4k for ivf though - wow. That is something to think about!

I suppose all any of us can do is decide what we want from life. That will change and be different at different times but as long as we can be happy doing something we love that's all that matters. Good luck for that chat with hubby hun - hope it all works out for you

Thanks hun ugh life cam be so confusing plus i can honestly say if money was no object then ofcourse we would do the IVF! ugh hey ho we will see. A nice big bfn today too so increasingly looking like i'll be joining you on the clomid in a day or so!

I constantly say I'd love to win the lottery. I don't play it though so not much chance!!

I'm on day 2 of clomid. Slept really badly last night because of a headache all night long. Looking back I realise I didn't drink much yesterday and it's gone now I'm up and drinking like a fish. In the middle of a hot flush just now after getting out of the shower. Just can't seem to cool off!

Minor symptoms - nothing I can't handle.

I'm holding on to some hope for you yet hun. Sorry about the bfn - they really can knock the wind out of you

With pcos I sometimes have four days of +ive opk's before I ov. You are supposed to ov 36 hours after the first peak but it doesn't always happen like that. Maybe ff has your ov date right?

Hi hun sorry to hear you are having the headaches and the flushes are you taking 50mg or 100mg? I can't remember sorry! Ugh the flushes are horrid i literally wake up dripping wet at night but as you say its all worth it!!

As for me temp drop today and Af will arrive today now or tomorrow at the very latest which interestingly also means the clinic where right. They said i would 100% ov 36hrs after the trigger shot and that my temps would not necessarily show this so not to worry - i didn't believe them haha BUT i always have a 13 day LP and this ties in perfectly with what they said. I will trust them this month but get a bit more bd in after just incase!!

So i will be about 4 days behind you Are you doing the trigger shot too? or just the monitored clomid?

I'm on 100mg this month. Have done 50mg on three previous cycles.

I would be offered a trigger if my lining is 7mm & I have the right number of eggs that look ready. However..... Because I've managed to start af so that cd11 is a Sunday of the bank holiday weekend - I might miss the chance for a trigger!! Lol! I've got a scan booked at 8.30am on the tues after the bank holiday to see if there's anything left. Been told to bd like crazy over the weekend lol!

yes the 50mg but i'm thinking of upping it to 100mg - will call clinic on Monday as i have enough tabs...surly it can't harm Fx all the timing works out for you!!!

Good luck calling the clinic today. Hope they do let you up the dose - maybe an extra boost will get you a really good strong OV.

I've not got any symptoms anymore. No headaches or hot flushes - they went away yesterday morning (day 3 of clomid) and I've had nothing since. I can't win - feel miserable with symptoms and now I've none I'm anxious it isn't working!!! Lol - very silly!!

Oh i know that feeling hun the whole thing is an emotional rollercoaser! If it helps i have had several clomid cycles with no symptoms and still had confirmed ovulation! Glad you are feeling better!

I phoned he clinic this morning to book in my baseline scan and asked about the dose, they are calling me back. The only reason i may not be able to is because i have a cyst - having said that it hasn't changed at all since January! FX although if they say yes i will be bricking it about the side effects!!!!

Good to know you had no symptoms but still had ov confirmed. I've been googling like crazy & have found lots of other people saying the same. So I'm trying to calm down about it all!!

Did the clinic call you back? What did they say? Has AF arrived for you or are you still waiting?

Hi Hun sorry for the late reply! Yay cycle buddies I knew af was coming lol took my first lot of 100mg clomid last night & oh my word I had crazy nightmares lol!! Apart from that the flushes where no worse than on 50mg so fx!! How are you today? You must be nearly finished on the tabs? Are you ready for the BD marathon lol?!! Keeping fx for you Hun - time flies so soon we will be in the wonderful 2ww together

Yay so pleased they let you do 100mg!! I've finished my tablets - was told to take one in the morning and one in the evening so I didn't take them together. Had some weird visual effects on sun/mon - almost like double vision but only of certain things - it was like some things had a ghost of themselves! It was only for a few minutes at a time but still threw me!! All symptoms are gone now though!

I've started opk's - way too early but it gives me something to do lol! Just in case I'm too late for the trigger!!

Bring on the bd marathon lol!!

Yay for finishing the tablets phew and a relief that those vision side effects went quickly scary stuff! I havent heard of it being taken am and pm but in this ttc game you learn something new everyday!! LOL i'd also do opk's like you as you can see a pattern emerging then

Well i took my second lot last night and so far so good FX!!
