Use by Date...fruit?

Iv got some avacado in the fridge for my LO but the use by date is for today but i dont intend on giving him it till tommorow...will it be ok till then or should i throw it?

It should be fine
I go by the rule with fruit and veg, that unless it is, squishy, black or furry it is fine
