Im guessing though this only works if you have already had your birthday this year and where born pre 2000

Yep as long as your birthday has already passed, if its still yet to happen ie you have a december birthday then it would still be 111

I heard that, and it baffled me haha, but i realised, of course if you take the year you were born, and add your age to it you will get 111 (2011) because that is how long you have been alive! I was born in 86, im 25 = 111, next year i will get 112 (2011) the year after 113 (2013) etc. I probably sound really thick now, like pointing out the obvious kinda thing, but it took me ages to realise lol x
