Using Ovulation Predictor Kit, can someone help me read this

So I've done the OPK tests for many days now. Today the test line is darker than the control line... has ovulation already taken place or does this mean I am ovulating now?

LH is a hormone that tells your body to release an egg so once you get a positive OKP it generally means you will ovulate within the next 12-36 hours.

Its hard to determine if you have ovulated right now because you could have caught the tail end of the ovulation etc but as sperm can generally last for 3-5 days having sex when you see a positive ovulation stick means there should be sperm around when the egg is released. I hope that was helpful x
