Uti and antibiotics!!

Hey ladies jus wondering if any of u ladies have had a uti and whetha uv taken ceflaxin for it. i jus want to know if

its safe for the baby if i take the ceflaxin?.

Also can a UTI ever cause slight spotting in 2nd trimester?

i took cefalexin last week for UTI and had no probs. I turst my doc completely x

i got put on it.. from the maternity ward.. they were really careful about what they got me, as long as your doctor has recommended it, should be fine.. xxxx

I took it around 16 weeks for a UTI and have had no problems. I was nervous about taking antibiotics too but then realized the UTI is by far worse for the baby!

I had cefalaxin for a kidney infection at 19 weeks and everything has been fine so far. I had it in quite a high dose through a drip and orally x

i have had reccrent uti from 12 weeks am now 34+5 i cant take cefaflexin they dont agree with my body give me the sqits TMI and the other antibiotics dont realy work has any 1 had this problem b4. also what happens if a uti goes untreated thanks
