My sepcialism will be childrens nursing so I am so interested in childhood vaccinations.

I cant wait to get into my first year and get studying again.

You'll love it! My sister is a paediatric theatre nurse and for her it's hard because of the trauma she sees but she loves helping the kids, it's so rewarding for her. She started where you're starting with a nursing diploma.
 
Thats the only bit i'm dreading seeing children in pain etc

Well it will depend where you go with your nursing. In theatre it's pretty intense but my sister saves lives. It's pretty amazing. She does suturing and so can close kiddies up after surgery. The other day they had a big brain surgery case on. I guess you have to take the good with the bad and it's not easy but I can only imagine how wonderful it must feel to save lives in such a direct way.
