vaginal itching (maybe TMI)

I've had vaginal itching since yesterday and it's worse today. I have no discharge and no redness. This is where the TMI comes in...it's not inside the vagina but around the outside of it around both sides.

Do you think it could have anything to do with hormones. I was 8DPO yesterday when it started and I noticed today too that my breasts aren't nearly as sore as they were right after ovulation, so wondering if my hormones are going down and it's causing this??

Anybody have this happen and know what it is? I know it's not an STD. I also thot maybe it is a yeast infection but I've never had one, so don't know. Do you think that is what this is? Are yeast infections just itching and no discharge or reddness? Would love any ideas and what I might do to reduce the itching. I'm washing with vagisil but it's not helping.

i do believe yeast infections can be itchy without redness and do you wear pads alot? because if you do that can cause contact dermatitis i know because i have had this before because i always have to wear a pad almost every single day because i always have so much discharge and if i didn't wear a pad i would have to change my underwear 3+ times a day

thanks...I don't have any kind of discharge so I'm not using a panty liner or anything. I may try an over the counter cream or sometihg. Will have to go to the store tomorrow and check out what's available. Just hoping to stay away from the doctor.

yea when i had the contact dermatitis it turned into a yeast infection and they gave me this cream to insert inside my vagina OMG it was a godsend that stuff worked great it took away the itch and everything. it was wonderful

This can be hormones!!!! sorry for all of the ! but a lot of times this issue is misdiagnosed, hormone levels can cause this. I went through this for months... It would start just after what should have been my ovulation time (I didn't ovulate though) and then it would last about 2 weeks (When I should have started my cycle). I was put on hormon meds and haven't had this issue since.
