Velcro on older nappies/wrap

The velcro tabs on my old nappies/wraps have curled outwards so its difficult to get them to lay flat to stick the tabs to the front section velcro. Any one got any ideas on how to get them to lay flat again? I've managed to get the PUL to work again after a few blasts in a hot tumble dryer so would love to get the velcro working good too.

Probably, I'm too lazy to unpick it if there is an easier way! I'm pants at sewing velcro too! lol
