VERY faint positive then negatives! 5 dpo?

Okay so im totally new to this but I am desperate for some more opinions! My last period was June 17th and I have been TTC for about 6 months. I tested at 5 dpo because I felt completely weird.. no other explanation. I got a right away but it is very faint. I have been testing almost every day since and have gotten all I am going absolutely crazy! Is it true that your hcg levels fluctuate which can be the reason I got the positive and now negatives? I am now only 8 dpo! Can I be pregnant??

looks positive to me. 5dpo would be too early to have a BFP. 8dpo might even be too early. keep testing, but get pink dye tests. blue dye are known to give a lot of false positives.

Blue dye tests always give a line. Try a frer...I agree 5 dpo would not show a positive even if you are pre go. Gl

The test actually looks a bit over-saturated to me, which would probably just make the issues with the blue dye tests even worse, giving you a weird result. I think you can definitely feel pregnant by 5 dpo. I started to and was pretty sure I was. But I didn't test until 10 dpo and got a BFP then. So give it a few more days, but try with a better test. I wouldn't trust these crappy ones. Good luck!
