VERY important question concerning Ovidrel shot..

I took the Ovidrel shot one week ago (On April 17) because my infertility doctor said I had a follicle around 19mm. On day 5 (April 22nd) , I took a HPT (First Response Gold), & it was positive. I tried not to get my hopes up because I know that the shot can stay in your system & can cause a false positive.

Anyways, tonight (which was 7 days after the shot), I took another First Response Gold HPT, and it came back negative..

I have a question. Could it be just the shot is out of my system, & I could be pregnant, just my HCG isn't high enough to show up on a test? I have a lot of symptoms already, but I don't know if it could be from the shot.. I have the nausea, the lower back pain, a little discomfort (NOT cramps) in my lower abdomin, kind of warm..

I do know I should go in for a blood test.. I just want other's opinions. All I want to do is cry but I shouldn't be stressed.. Please help...
