Very nervous about 7w5d scan!

Im very nervous about this scan tomorrow :/ im scarred that something is wrong or that i wont hear a heart beat and ill have to wait more, which will drive me crazy. Is it normal to hear a heart beat at this time??? and to be this nervous!!

Very normal to be worried and yes, you probably can hear a heartbeat. We heard heartbeats at 6 weeks 6 days. Good luck and let us know how things go!

LOL Its totally normal to be this nervous! I had a scan at 7 weeks, 2 weeks ago and I thought I was going to pass out or throw up from the nerves. I sat in the waiting room swingin my legs on the chair like a 2 year old to occupy my brain. LMAO! Im fairly certain that you will be able to see the heart beat at 7+5. I saw it at 7. I can tell you not to worry, but it probably wont help. Im going for my second scan tomorrow to see if the baby is growing, and Im a ball of nerves. Good luck! !

I have just come back from a scan today,which put me at 7+1(thought I was 7+4),we couldn't see much,she pointed out the yolk sac,then the baby,then if you concentrated really hard you could see the tiniest little flicker on the screen!,hubby saw it better than I did,my eyesight is shocking!!.We didn't get the opportunity to hear it,but you could definately see it,and they said everything looked right on track.
Please try not to worry,I am sure will see it.x

Thank you guys! helping a bit. i cant even sleep!! im that nervous. the doctors calculator puts the due date at the 26th of january 2013, can that change depending on size of the baby?

went and had my scan :/ saw and heard nothing. the person said i could be earlier than the doctor thought. only saw the stupid little circle before they zoom in to see the actual yoke. Nothing. im mortified. they say i should come back in a nother week for an ultrasound to see the difference. but im so un hopeful.

Don't worry, my doctor told me that the heartbeat usually isn't detectable until 9 weeks, sometimes even later.

Thanks guys. me and lee saw the gestational sac. which is slightly better than nothing. I'm hoping that i was a bit late in ovulating. cause i still don't have my period either. so damn confusing.
