Just wanted to share this here as I can't really put this on Facebook.

We had a really rough start which included him having a shallow latch, my nipples been trashed, using nipples shields, mastitis, weaning off nipple shields, constant pain and dread at every feed for 6 weeks. I used to say to my husband if it continues to be this hard I'm getting to 6 months and we are done.

I'm very pleased to say that we're now at 6 months and I can't seem us stopping anytime soon. He is such a boob monster and I love how much comfort he gets from feeding. He has tripled his birth weight and that's all from me! I'm very proud of how far we've come.

Next goal 1 year :)

well done for getting through it!
there were many times I almost gave up but stuck with it and we're still here 8 months later with no sign of stopping.

Great job! I was the same with my first. But somehow I made it six month and then it was smooth sailing!

Huge congrats!!

I struggled so much to start with too. I hope I'm still going at 6 months. (Don't think my bottle refusing DD is going to give me much choice really!!h
