hi i'm lookin at gettin a quinny buzz 3 pushchair for 11month old son? any one got one? what are they lik?
thanks

Is it the one with two different sized seats or just one seat?

My neighbour has the one with one seat (bought about 12 months ago) and her 10 month old barely fits in it any more! It seems very small fitting but I have seem the same pram with 2 separate seat units in the mothercare catalogue so it might be better.

I have this and love it! I know my LO is only 16 weeks, but it comes with two sizes of seats so should kep you going for a while yet! I think it is SO nice to push! Only one (tiny) negative thing I have found is the back wheels are quite wide! I always get stuck in the local Post Office door!

I've seen so many babies in these looking so squashed at only 11/12 months which would put me off buying one especially at your LOs age.

I have one and so far I've found it fine, easy to steer but I've also found that in some shops the back wheels do get stuck coz of width! I can't really comment about the seat size yet as Joseph is only 5 months x

The new ones come with 2 seat sizes so that is great! I love the Buzz, it pushes very comfortably, Erica is comfy in it. But I must say, it is wide. And big for our trunks. We ended up getting a Zapp too, because it fit better in our cars. DH has a sports car, and I had to take the back wheels off and sometimes the seat (depending if he had anything in his trunk) to make it fit! So if you have a small trunk, I wouldn't recommend it, otherwise its fab!

I love mine too but like the others say its wide. Also can be pricey as u have to buy the shopping basket, footmuff etc seperate

I have the 4 wheeler and love it. It can be a pain on the bus if there are other pushchairs on with you because of the wide back wheels. You can get the baskets for cheaper on ebay and any footmuff will work with it too. My daughter is only 8 months though, but we do have a 2nd seat for when she gets bigger.

I'll be honest and say, I loved the look and idea of the Quinny Buzz and bought one (with the 'bells and whistles') almost brand new on ebay. I'm just glad I didn't pay full price!

It's sitting in my loft at the mo and I'm thinking of selling it on :dohh:

I agree with the others, it is wide which makes it difficult to get through some shop doors etc. Also I find the I can't control it if I try to push it one handed (I had the 3 wheeler, this might not be a problem on the 4 wheeler though). It barely takes any effort to unfold, but I found it awkward to fold it back down again (I really don't see how someone who had cesarean would be able to do it!).

It looks good, and was def lighter than the travel system I had.

If I borrowed one for a week before I'd bought one, I personally would have gone for something different. Though Oscar did look comfy in it and I liked the fact that I could adjust the seat if Oscar fell asleep to make him more comfortable.

I also have a quinny buzz. Agree with the other ladies wrt the width of the back wheels, i am constantly going up walls or getting stuck in shops! I was limited with which pushcahir to get as i have a Ford sport Ka so very limited boot space! With the buzz i am able to remove a wheel so my boot shuts! My only negative is that they seem to be very popular now so it's not unusual to be surrounded by many quinny buzz's!
xx

I have one and I LOVE it! my favourite thing about it is that its so easy to push and maneauvre around, handy when I am holding my toddlers hand so I can push one handed! Occasionally the wheels are to wide but Iv never got stuck throught a door, its never been a problem for me. The new models are now all sold with the bigger seat so Im sure you'd get plenty of use out of it! xxx

I have one. Not tried the second seat size yet as baba is only 5 months. But he loves it. It is wider than my Pilko but much easier to put down, steer etc etc. Lil one loves it :) XxxX

I have one too and love it. It's definitely more practical and the one I had before, easier to steer, lift when going up the steps...etc.
Definitely a good investment.

I have one......

Positives - looks good; comes with two seat sizes so should last; easy to push

Negatives - wide back wheels (but I knew that when I bought it); I have to take one wheel off to fit it in my boot and my car is not that small; it has a tiny shopping basket that I also had to buy separately; it takes a bit of muscle power to close the wheels/base down; the smaller seat is actually way too big for my 6 week old baby, so had to go out and buy the Dreami carrycot attachment for an extra £140 as well!!!

In hindsight if I had know all the negatives and all the extras I would have to buy then I think I would have bought a different buggy/system!

i have one too. i love it . altogh it is a nightmare when trying to squeeze it in peoples boots! lol
i brought mine second hand from ebay with dreami, and maxi cosi.
they grow out of the dreami very quick though!
ive heard you can collapse them with the seat unit on? does any one know if this is true? i have the older version, with the 1 big seat not the new little one.

I'd like to know this too! Not sure if I am being bit daft but I can't work it out with the seat on! I keep taking it off... :dohh: I really thought it went down with it on!

i reallyy like mine though its not very easy to take on a bus as its big and bulky, ditto walking around in shops had to buy a buggy too! x
