my vision problems started in my 2nd pregnancy. I noticed that at times I couldn't see out of one eye...there would be a large blind spot that stays a while and goes away.
I saw an ophthalmologists who was horrible to me. she appeared to be seeing 2 other patients at the same time and barely let me talk. she checked over my eyes and said everything looks normal and my vision issues were probably stress related- without even trying to pinpoint triggers or anything.
the full on blind spot issue didn't continue much longer so I forgot about it. then something else happened. when in low lighting conditions there are things I can't see at all. for example, only half of the ceiling lamp even though other things around it are visible. another time I could see my husband standing on one side of the room but at one point I couldn't see him at all even though I could still see the wall behind him.
it's very weird and I don't understand it. I'm not even sure if I'm describing it in a way that makes sense.
