First off, my baby wasn't a preemie so I'm sorry if I offend anybody by posting on this section, but this seems to be a more common problem with preemies or so I've been reading.
Ever since Jack was born he's made a breathy, hoarse cry. He will cry and then it'll sound silent for a second, then the hoarse cry will come back in. I have had mild concerns since his birth but I just always thought maybe he will have a deep/raspy voice. Now he's 3 months old and he's not babbling, he's croaking and squeeking. He looks as though he wants to speak but nothing comes out, then he will kind of croak-coo and squeak.
Im taking him to the dr's tomorrow but looking for experiences with babies with this as i cant find anything on google or youtube showing sounds like this. I did look up Laryngomalacia but he doesn't make any sounds when he's breathing, or make any sounds when laying down its only when he tries to make any sound such as crying or is trying to /speak.
