Misfitsammi - I think that's really bad, the scan is important for loads of different factors not just making sure it working but to check for ovarian hyprerstimulation. So annoyed for you!

The symptoms are more than worth it, especially when it works well which I'm sure it will.

Princesstaz- I completely agree with you, they said if I don't hear any more then they'll leave the appointment as it is.. So far I've not heard. I just think they are supposed to be the specialist, so I should really go a long with it, however track record makes me a little concerned since they've managed to loose my notes twice! Hello! I am new to the forum but I am happy too that I am not the only one going through a Clomid journey. A little background information about me is that my hubby and I have been TTC for 10 months now naturally and my OB finally started me on first cycle of Clomid. My cycle length can be anywhere from 28-45 days. Sometimes my GYN prescribes Provera to induce my cycles. Long story short my OB stated that he doesn't believe I am ovulating so I am doing Clomid CD 5-9 and temping and on CD 14 (May 26th) I go the office to get a vaginal ultrasound and HCG injection and on CD 16 we DTD. I am so nervous about my appointment. I'm not sure if I will have produced enough follicles by then and if so will they be mature enough for me to proceed with the injection. I have been reading forums after forums on what worked best for everyone and I have added to my regime pressed which I used for the first time yesterday 2 grams and Robitussen. Any advice the wait is killing me. I just want my BFP!! Baby dust to all

Normally wouldn't be so happy for af to arrive, especially not 4 days earlier than expected but on this occasion I am thrilled. No nookie over my fertile time so I knew I was out and I get to start my clomid! Not had much luck without it so now I feel like I'm in with a good chance! I'll be on 50mg CD2-6, exactly the same dose and days as I conceived my ds on.

Anybody else here on clomid or just starting? Can't remember much of the side effects from the first time around but I'm pretty sure I struggled with sleep and being really irritable and snappy. It will all be worth it if it works though. So excited!!!

Hi princess taz I would like to join you. I should start clomid in a week since AF is due to arrive in about 4 days. I tested today 10dpo and got BFN. I really felt preg so I don't know. Maybe it's in my head. This is 4th month ttc but my doctor gave me clomid 50 mg to give my ovulation a boost. I usually O around CD21 but this month I o'd CD28. I'm glad my doctor isn't making me wait a year as I'm so impatient to get preg after my loss first month Ttc. I'm so nervous though because I don't wanna end up with triplets or unhealthy twins as I already ovulate on my own with a great luteal phase. I would love healthy twins though

It's great to hear that you had previous success with clomid! And resulted in a healthy baby. I am a bit worried as I heard clomid stays in the system way past conception and implantation. It rarely causes issues such as birth defects but there's a very low chance. I know I should wait a year but I'm trying to have my first and I'm so impatient.

What do you think?

I responded perfectly this cycle ans had a good ovulation but unfortunately haven't caught that eggy. 12dpo and bfn since 6dpo plus a massive temp drop today so af is on the way. It's ok though because the main thing is it's working and I've still got 5 cycles to go.

I'm also going to try preseed this cycle, will be nice to have some cycle buddies

Hello all! I just wanted to post an update. I went to the Dr. and had my ultrasound on May 26. Results showed a four follicles on the right side and three on the left. My lead follicle was 17.5mm. I was excited to see that the Clomid worked and that I had one follicle that is a hair away from being mature. I just became really discouraged when the Dr. stated well next month we will increase dose of Clomid to 100 mg and in the mean time we will see what happens. The Dr. went ahead and gave me the HCG injection 10,000 units. No action to report except my temperature has dropped (maybe pre ovulatory dip) and I have been having twinges in my ovaries. I am still taking Robitussin at night to thin CM, baby aspirin in the am, multi-vitamin and pre-seed. The hubby and I BD'd May 17 (day after coming off my cycle), 19, 20, 22, 25, 26, 27. Not sure how to really feel I feel like follicle size of 17.5 mm is too small for the leading follicle. Any success stories, advice, or words pf encouragement? Do you guys think I have a chance?

My consultant told me that a follicle will be relased (ovulation) between 18mm and 24mm. In wouldn't personally think that .5 could make a massive difference and it would still have a little time to grow before releasing. At least he's going to increase your clomid, that could help boost it a little but I wouldn't count yourself out just yet. Good luck x

Why doesn't your doctor wait 2 more days before he triggers so more follices mature and you have a higher chance?

My OB is against the trigger when I asked for it. She said when the egg is ready it comes down on its own. Idk.

Princesstaz are you triggering?

I heard triggering makes all mature follicles come down but natural ovulation causes one or 2 of the eggs to drop and the rest get suppressed. This is great since I don't want higher order multiple pregnancy but would be fine with a singleton or twins. Anyone know if this is true about other follicles being suppressed?

I'm 14 dpo. Was not feeling well at all past 2 days. Been very dizzy and my whole body seems to ache and be sore although I have done nothing. Nipples keep becoming more sensitive.
I'm just waiting for AF now. Felt a few cramps yesterday. Will not test again no matter what. I realized I bought my wondfo tests from a bad seller and pregnancy tests aren't accurate. False positives and false negatives.

No I never even been offered a trigger shot, not head anyone I know from the UK mention it either. I can't see why they'd need to do one unless you had something like an hormonal problem with your lh and couldn't release naturally.

Not much to report for me at the moment. I'm taking my clomid on an evening this time to try and minimise the psycho it turns me into lol. Had the most horrendous period pains, don't know if that's anything to do with the clomid or not bu they were unbearable on Wednesday night. Will be starting my opks and clearblue dual hormone ovulation kit on cd8.

Can someone look at my chart? I really don't know why my temp didn't go down today. Af due tomorrow and I always get a large temp drop before af. I have so many symptoms yet the supposedly wondfo test is still negative 14 dpo (I caved an hour ago and tested).

I really am not expecting this to be a BFP because I'm waiting for AF anxiously to start clomid. I'm not imagining the symptoms at all. By now my progesterone should be dropping along with my temp and other symptoms. I just want Af to show her ugly face ASAP if I'm not pregnant cuz I'm so tired.

I took a look at your chart and from the little I know I would say it looks promising. Maybe you just need a couple more days to test. Best of luck to you! Also, when I asked my OB/GYN stated it would not make a difference since the lead follicle was so close 18mm. Well I hope you get your Keep us updated!

Taima your chart looks awesome! I'd test again every other day of af still doesn't come. Some women don't get a positive until after their period had missed depending on when implantation occurred. Good luck, really hope you get your bfp.

LadyJ17 yeah iit's great you responded so well. That's what I told myself last month, as long as I'm ovulating I will get that bfp sooner or later. Sooner would be nicer though lol. My side effects last cycle were hot flushes, insomnia amd really emotional verging on psychotic! I was up and down, happy then angry. It was horrible for my poor oh bless him. I've been taking them before bed this time and it has seemed to help them, been sleeping fine and no massive mood swings.

I'm 15 dpo and my temp is still as high as 14 dpo. The problem with my tests that I got from Amazon before leaving the U.S. Is that I'm doubting their accuracy. They're so called wondfo but I feel I got cheated. I looked at reviews and so many people said the pregnancy tests show false negative or false positive (evap). I will test again 16dpo if my temp is still up. If I don't get AF tomorrow, I'll tell hubby to get me a sensitive test when he comes home Tuesday.
I was gagging multiple times in the morning. That's a new one for me. Other than that, I have digestive discomfort, fatigued, heart burn (I feel like acid is boiling in my tummy), very gassy, cramps (AF?). Trying not to think so much but it's all I can think about: AM I PREGNANT?? I'm so afraid that I'm gonna end up with AF..

If I get AF, it's on to clomid. I hope you guys get your BFPs on clomid this cycle !!

Taima your symptoms do sound so convincing! What's your usually lp length? Not sure what's going on, how's your temps today? Cheaper online tests aren't the best in the world really, just really good for if you're a poas addict. FX You get some answers soon, really hope af stays away for you.

I'm currently CD6, been taking my clomid on a night and hardly had any symptoms at all which is good. Just bored now waiting to O, roll on 2ww!

Well I got AF 17 dpo making it a 16 day luteal phase. Is that suppose to mean I have high progesterone? Is that a bad thing? Before my late period I was not expecting much this month because I ovulated so late. So not that surprised I got AF.

Anyways excited and scared to start clomid. Hubby said I don't have to take clomid now since it's only our 4th month but I really wanna try one cycle for now. I'll only temp till I confirm ovulation and forget about temping. The months after that I will ttc naturally and won't temp at all.

Do you guys take muccinex for CM? If so what day you start it and how much do you take?

Princesstaz when are you due to ovulate?

Taima sorry af got you! Won't harm trying the clomid, might do tbe trick first time lucky! From what I know a longer lp is a good thing so I wouldn't worry too much, might have just been one of those whacky months where you cycle gets a bit out of sync.

I've never taken muccinex, never even heard of it. I did drive lots of grapefruit juice around ovulation though to help with cm and had loads of EWCM from it the cycle I conceived my ds.

I'm CD8 at the moment and due to O on CD15, it's feels like a lifetime away!

I will start taking clomid tomorrow night and hoping this will do it for me. If not, I will not stress at all because I'm convinced that it will happen when it's time! I will also do grapefruit juice along with muccinex I'll probably make the juice at home to have it fresh.

I know what you mean it feels like ages! I think waiting to ovulate is worse than the TWW. Keep me updated on what happens. I'm hoping to ovulate between CD 14 - 17, no later than that. Excited to see myself ovulating before CD20+


I traveled this month so I'll see a new obgyn on CD 12-13 and request an ultrasound to make sure everything is ok and know how many follicles are maturing.

Hoping we all get BFPs this cycle!

Today I finish my last pill and I am having so much ewcm today that started yesterday. I have not had any side effects I just feel hot sometimes (hot flash?). Am I gonna ovulate before CD14 since I'm having this so early? I'm still CD7

My new obgyn thinks I have pcos due to a scan at CD 4 after 1 clomid pill.

I'm sorry I have been missing I was just trying to keep myself busy during the tww. No luck for me this month my temps were looking good and they never dropped below baseline buttt af showed up today 13dpo. I'm sad but I'm rxtrely excited to have a fresh start! I called my dr and they are calling in my higher dose 100mg of clomid and my trigger injection and I'll go back in the office on June 23 for my trigger. I'm excited because my birthday is July 11 and that would be a perfect birthday gift to myself and my husband. I have a good feeling this go around. I am wondering if I should still continue to try clomid on day 5 or ask my dr if can do days 2-7. Any suggestions?

I have heard of mucinex or robitussin which they both are suppose to thin out your cm. I tried robitussin last month but I may try mucinex this month. I'm willing to try whatever to get my BFP lol. I may also use preseed again since I have a lot left over from last month. As far as you ovulating early I was told that you could buy the possibility is slim. CD7 is really early. Clomid can cause af like cramping and hot flashes though so maybe it's the pill. I had hot flashes bad but when I went on CD14 I still had not ovulated yet. My lead follicle was 17.5mm. Good luck with everything I know that a new diagnosis is not what you wanted to hear but it would explain what is going on and may give you a better chance at understanding what it is you need to do to conceive. Don't worry though we are here to support you and I believe you will get your BFP shortly!! Baby dust to you!!
