Basically, I had a miscarriage in 2007, and another recently in Nov 2010.
With the last pg that lasted about 6 weeks, I informed my GP who booked me to see the m/w at 8 weeks. I didnt go to this appointment as I'd miscarried by then.
I'm just wondering if I get pregnant again (we're TTC Jan 2011) should I wait till I hit the 8 week mark and then book the m/w myself or should I tell my GP as soon as I'm pg?
When I told my GP is was pg last time, he just booked the m/w appointment, so I don't see any benefit from telling him.
Both my pg lasted till about the 6th week. I'm feeling if I can hold on to the pregnancy til the 8th week, then book in with the m/w.
Do you think this is a sensible thing to do?
