Waiting for my AF to show - she keeps on tricking me! Can anyone relate?

Well I am very confused....this is my first cycle of TTC, came off BC (Microgynon 30) lat month, and my withdrawal ended on April 10th.

Didn't temp or use OPKs this month but DTD when I thought I may be OV (judged by CM).

Started spotting on 12th May (if you can call it that, it was just a very pale brown/yellow on the TP, sorry TMI). Have had the same every day since then with some very mild cramps.

Did a test this morning and got a BFN - now I am confused, assumed that my AF would not arrive on time seeing as I had been on BC for 10 years, but this is really confusing me...is my AF ever gonna come?

I just want to get on with my next cycle of TTC and order some OPKs and a BBT!

Anyone with similar experiences?

I had a period right after I came off bc but then it took me months to get another one. For me it was my PCOS that didn't give me another AF for a long time. Usually it takes time for AF to come around after being on BC for awhile. Hopefully it will show soon!

Ever since I came off bcp my period has been getting later and later, but that's due to me ovulating later and later (I temp, so I know). My luteal phase length has stayed the same. I hear getting regular coming off bcp may take up to a year.

You have just horrified me! My period is seeming to arrive later now. I don't want it to take a year for me to get regular again

Today I have more brown discharge, like I would expect just before a normal period, but still no red blood!

I am confused, do i still ovulate every month even if AF doesn't come?
