Anyone else waiting for their first cycle after miscarriage? I had a complete miscarriage June 8th and it seems the bleeding is done (has tailed off to just spotting). Planning on waiting until after next AF shows up to try again.

Hey TTDuck - glad you posted this because I am wondering the same thing!
Found Babyandbump through a google search for TTC forums. I definitely am needing some comfort/friendship that I feel can truly only come from others currently experiencing it. Not that family/friends haven't been supportive, but you know!

I am currently waiting for AF to return too and it is KILLING me - and I am usually a very patient person. But over this, you might call me borderline obsessive and I feel bad for my hubby who has to listen to me constantly talking about it. I had my MMC diagnosed on 6/11, d&c on 6/16, and I have my follow-up tomorrow. Hoping my blood tests show hCG is close to 0 although after a strong positive hpt on Friday I'm doubtful they will be.

I thought I'd be relieved after the d&c and that I would finally feel like I'd gotten some closure but this waiting game is a whole new range of emotions I didn't expect.

Hang in there, I'm hoping we both get her back soon!

Same here miscarried fully the 31st now just waiting for AF to show! Dr. told us this time we had to waiting two months to ttc again. It is going to be a long 2 months.

Just curious - did Dr. tell you why the 2 month wait? I have read stories ranging from getting the green light immediately to waiting 3-6 and I'm hoping I can just have the patience to wait until my first cycle is complete! I have my appt. tomorrow so we'll see what my Dr. recommends.

I finally got a temperature shift confirming ovulation! Was only about a week later than I would ovulate with a normal cycle (which is around cd 21 normally). Now to wait for AF to show up... in the middle of vacation so I'm hoping it's not a bad one. I forgot to call to find out what my last hcg result was, but they didn't call me to have me come get tested again so I'm assuming it was low enough by then.

mamarevot - I was told that you should wait to have a normal cycle because sometimes your body isn't healed enough that it can handle a pregnancy and often ends with another miscarriage. I think that largely depends on how far along you are.

I usually O on CD21 too, but I'm CD21 today and no peak on my monitor, but I missed testing on CD18, and I just started having a metal taste in my mouth, which I only get after O, so maybe I Od early for once!! I guess I'll find out in a couple of weeks if I get AF. It will be nice to have this cycle over so I can move on to the next!

hopefully that was ovulation for you! It's nice to know your body is doing something right!

I ended up getting a call from the doctors today and they do want me come in to test hcg again. Guess it's not down to 0 yet!
