Waiting game

I was wondering how long it took others to get their period back after a D&C (and regulate your cycle). I had mine done at 9w3d after the baby stopped developing at 6 weeks but everything else continued to grow. My hormones were what a normal 9 week pregnancy would be. I say that because with my pervious miscarriage that happened at almost 8 weeks my hormones were already dropping and so I got my period back rather quickly at 4 weeks (but it tooks months to ovulate). My doctor projected it would take between 6-8 weeks to get my period back this time and we having tests we are waiting on in the meantime but I was just wondering how fast (or slow) it took others so I can mentally prepare. We are hoping to try soon but are expecting a wait.
