its really starting to bug me as to why summer wakes up quite a few times in the night, she has been sleeping through for ages now so i no its not for food, she has also been doing this waking thing for a while so i no its not a growth spurt or anything. if i leave her she just whinges and eventually cries, i have to keep putting her dummy back in her mouth all night as she is always knocking it out then crying for it... any ideas?

Colton did this for awhile right after he turned for months.. he also got his first teeth at 4.5 months though. So, it could be that. He used to wake only once though.. around 2-3am.. I would pat his back (he no longer has a dummy) and he would go right back to sleep.. but if I left him he would start screaming. He quit doing it a few weeks ago.. and sleeps through again now.

My LO has also started doing this, we swaddle him when it's bedtime but 3/4 hours later he's busted out and starts wriggling around, he's like an escapologist!
