i know every baby is different on how well they do things.
when did your LO's show signs of wanting to walk?

Adele was holding our hands and taking steps when she was 11 months old but didnt take her first step till she was 15 months old.

Colby is showing no signs at all and screams when you hold her up to try and walk and flumps herself back down again, she just wants to crawl. I blame myself because she isnt allowed on the floor because we have no carpets and the only place shes allowed to crawel is in the kitchen because its the only place except the bathroom that has flooring down ( we are with her at all times when shes crawling)

should i mention this to the health visitor or just let her take her time

thansk in advance girlies

Maddie trying ... she stands and will take steps holding on to my hands.

I think they say 18mths is when you should worry and mention it to your HV, she will do it in her own time hun ... all children are different!

I'll second what Imi said - you only need to speak to the hv if there is still no sign of walking by 18 months. If she's getting round by crawling, then she doesn't realise she needs to walk.
