Want a 4D Scan

But at 29 weeks thinking I might be abit late!!! Was originally going to have a 4D, then changed my mind, but now all of a sudden I'm thinking I really want to get a 4D Scan.

Been so long since I saw my little man at 20 weeks, and I still have 11 weeks to go til I meet him, so now thinking I'd love to have a 4D Scan.

What do you think, is it too late?

I had a normal scan the other day, just seeing how much detail the sonographer could see, and what she was telling me, it really made me want to see more in the respect of having a 4d scan!

I just wish I had the spare money to get one! lol!

I've just booked one for when I'm 31 weeks as it's our first wedding anniversary and I though it would make a nice present for my other half.....I can't wait to see my little princess again I really hope she's not too big to get some nice pics!

They say the best time to get them is at 28-32 weeks, I had mine done at 33 and they still came out good

We could just about afford it, and when I mentioned it to my hubby he said book it then. Will have to see if I can find out where they do it locally.

Nope, not too late! We went on Saturday for ours but he wasn't having any of it, so we went back last night and the pictures were fantastic! I was 28+3.

Just found a place that does them, its about 5 miles from my work and for the basic package its £95. Hubby says its fine with him so I'm calling tomorrow to try and make an appointment. Fingers crossed!!!

We had 1 at 28 weeks and the pics were fantastic ive got 1 as my avatar, they tell you to have 1 between 28 and 33 weeks cos theyve still got a bit of room to move about so there not too cramped. Hope you get an appointment hun you'll love it its an amazing experience

I had mine done at 26 weeks and my MW saw it today and advised me to complain as it wasnt very good, she said you can still get great pictures full term, and some of the best shes seen are later on x

Thanks girls. I've had an email from the place near work and they have appointments and are going to call me to arrange. So excited!!

Bexivillian - Sorry you didn't get great pics from your 4D, you should definitely complain...perhaps you could get your money back or they can rescan you.

hi im quite new to this so i dont really know how to do alot of things other than post a message lol,,,,, iv got a 4d scan booked nxt week i will be 29+4 i really had to book one because at my 20 week scan i was told i was having a boy and then 6 weeks later i had to have another scan i asked them to check the sex they said yes it is a boy,,, i had to have another scan a few days later and they told me the sex was a GIRL!!!!! i was in total shock i couldnt believe it i had bought boy things aswell,,, so now 3 weeks later its killing me no being able to have a second check so thats why i have decided to have 4d scan...

is there anyone that can show me some pictures and videos at around 29 weeks so i have an idea of what its going to be like. thanks

Oh my god I can't believe they told you boy twice, just to tell you that its a girl...I bet you dont know what to think.

thanks i will have a look,, i know tell me about it now the midwife just says, well its a 50/50 chance isnt it. im hoping wen i have my 4d nxt week that i can see if the baby is defo a girl lol.... i can laugh about it now but at the time i found out i didnt know what to think,,, hope ur scan goes well today x
