want another baby after 2 sections but very scared :-(

hi guys sorry to keep harping on about this..but ive decided i am going to try for a 3rd baby in the new year.thing is ive had 2 previous sections, so would be another c section.but iam so scared, and where i to get pregnant i dont want it to ruin a future pregnancy.by worrying myself silly..any kind words of encouragement would be greatly appreciated..
i really hate for feeling so scared all the time, but i could possibly be one of the worlds greatest worriers.my main concern would actually be 'rupture' but my mind has been put at ease by knowing this only happens during labour..

That's awesome If it helps any, I've heard of people having upwards of 4 c-sections and them and all their children being fine

Hi Hun I'm new to this but I am in exact same position and got my gp to refere me to one of the consultants at the local hospital and she totally put me at ease. Don't get me wrong am scared but the excitement has taken over........ We not trying till feb cos of a holiday booked in September. You will be fine Hun if you want to speak to me as we a going through same am here xx

Im 17 weeks now, my last section was August 2006 so quite a while ago. Im ok, second tri bliss and all that, feeling little jabs here and there, but some days nothing, even though she is very active. Had a private scan yesterday and found out she is a girl she wiggled and moved loads, but I couldn't feel her.

I have my fingers crossed for you, for when you start trying. I think I worry now as im older, I was 20 and 23 when I had the others, im now 29 and know a lot more about things, so I worry more lol. It's silly really, as worrying will not change anything, but hey ho that's me lol.

I didn't know there was any issues with multiple c-sections? My grandma had 8 lol and that was way back in the day and the lady on the show the Duggars who has 20 kids she's had c-sections. I just had a c-section 11 days ago, my DS last year was a vaginal birth he's 16 months now and we just had our baby girl she's 11 days old I had to have an emergency csection due to her heart rate dropping during every contraction. I had two rough pregnancys with high BP and rapid heart rate and was told probably shouldn't have any more babies due to the stress on my heart I'm kinda struggling with that :/ good luck to you ladies.

hi mandy, in the UK they have a medical guideline which say, they consider 3 sections to be safe, obviously if somethings going to go wrong, it will regardless.and yes i know people who have had 3,4,5 sections and have been fine...iam a huge softie thats all
oh dear not good news bout you, is it a medical condition or is brought on by pregnancy.what have you decided to do, call it a day or try again..congratulaions by the way

oh jenny a girl, would love a girl hehe...congratulations.ive heard after mulitple sections for some reason you dont get the same feelings when they move as you first did.so how are you feeling? have you been given any advice regarding a 3rd section? :0)

hi Stacey, id sent you a huge private msg but it wouldnt send.so ill do it this way instead hehe...well like you i will be trying early next yr, i want the celebrations out the way first hehe...so am i right in saying you also have 3 cuts after 2 babys? see thats a worry too, i think being cut for a 4th time...mmm will i not burst hahaha! i had a ovarian cyst removed too unfortunately they had to go in through my scar!! ive also had 2 early mcs
what advice were you given hun regarding a 3rd section! take care

It's still early days with movements, for a few days il feel some wiggles, and then some days I don't feel anything. Im pretty good, just sleepy a lot. Iv not been given any advice, but im seeing the consulatant at my 20 week scan, which is in 3 weeks.

Hi not pregnant. I was advised everything would be fine yes I have 3 scars and 2 babies and they said to me there was absolutely nothing to worry about. I was given so much reassurance from one of the consultants. I a, sure we will both be fine Hun but I know exactly what you mean about the worry. I just keep telling myself that the first 7 days will be the worst. As long as you have a good support network Hun I am sure you will be fine xx

I am walking proof that of 4 c sections and another to come in April. Don't worry yourself with pointless things it will only stress you out and stress is bad for ttc....if you have lots of scar tissue or other health issues that might be one thing but healing is usually a year process after you have had baby via my OB.( I don't know but i felt fine in 6 weeks) I have had tubal ligation and a tubal reversal and am pregnant again after all these surgeries and i am carrying a very healthy active baby girl. And with each one i notice i bounce back faster and easier than the previous c-section. I am not high risk at all either.

My friend has had 3 sections, 1 emergency and 2 elective. She hasn't ruled out a 4th and doesn't seem to regard it as an issue.
