Was anyone else who had GD sent for a GTT after baby was born?

When I found out I had GD, they told me I'd be sent for a second GTT somewhere between 6 weeks and 6 months postpartum.

My test is tomorrow morning, so I'm fasting right now.

Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is doing a second GTT to rule out type 2 diabetes?

I haven't had my lo yet, but do have gd. My doc said that I'd need to do the gtt about 6 wks after delivery, also.
