I posted this in the loss section toi so if its redundant, i apologize, but this is crazy and i didnt even kniw it was possible. Has this happened to anyone else?

So two weeks ago when I had a miscarriage I thought this would be behind us and we could move on and start trying again. Went in for blood work Thursday and my levels went up from 3000 on mc day to 6000. Crap. So went in for an emergency Dr visit on Friday and ended up being admitted into the hospital to remove yet another ectopic pregnancy. Not how I had intended to spend my lunch hour that day. From the ultrasound they couldn't tell which tube it was...the good one, or the one that had been previously damaged from an ectopic 7 years ago.

Lucky for me it was the bad one and they removed my right tube to avoid this happening again. So now I'm down to one tube. As if its been easy for me to conceive the last three almost four years as it is, now I'm missing a piece of those important reproductive organs.

Get a call from the Dr today and asked her what the deal was with two weeks ago vs last week. Her answer: I had a miscarriage AND an ectopic pregnancy. Lucky me. This is crap. Why can't my body just work normal? Ugh! Its so frustrating!!

I didn't want to read and run. I've never had an ectopic pregnancy. Sorry to hear about what you're going through.

I'm so sorry. My last pregnancy was an Ectopic and I was heartbroken because I don't have a right ovary (it was in my left tube) so I thought for sure that was the end of us getting pregnant.

When they said you had both an ectopic and miscarriage did they mean you were pregnant in your uterus and tube on the same cycle? If so I am very sorry. I've never heard of that before.

So are you able to conceive? I've read that an egg from one ovary can float to the side with the good tube but didn't know if there was any truth to that or not.

And yes, she basically said I lost maternal twins two different ways exactly a week apart. Which is crazy. I didnt know it was possible. Told my mom about it and apparently a lady she works with lost twins the same way too. It gives me hope that my non bum side works too...not just the messed up one, you know, that's no lo her there.
