Water Breaking At 14/15 Weeks?

Has anyone got any experience or heard of this?

I am just under 15 weeks pregnant with twins and have been in hospital all night as the waters around one twin have broken. He/She still has a heartbeat at the moment, and the other twin is moving around well and has normal waters as they were in seperate sacs.

I am being admitted to hospital this morning, and the doctor didn't seem that hopeful, but said there is always a chance and if I can get to 23/24 weeks they can inject me with steroids and deliver the babies. They will keep me on anti biotics until then and scan me daily.

I am trying to remain hopeful, but I just wondered if anyone else has hear dof this or experienced it?

Thankyou all. So far both babies are still OK and it seems the main risk would be infection, so I am on preventative antibiotics.

Im so sorry this is happening to you hun I assume are they keeping you in hospital now?

I lost my waters at 16wks in my last pregnancy and my little girl managed to hang on until 19wks but unfortunately I went into premature labour

I am praying for you hun but you are defo in the best place & they will do everything they can to keep your little ones inside you for as long as possible xx

Oh I am sooo sorry, as for your baby thats water has broken, thats a difficult situation, but, if the baby does not make it (which I pray is not the case) they can do a c-section and take the baby while leaving your other baby in the womb without breaking his/hers water, I will be praying for you!!
