On friday we are off on hols  to Scotland. The house is supplied from water direct off the hills - only very basic treatment before it comes out of the tap.

Would you:

Boil the tap water

Boil mineral water

Take water in bottles from home and boil that (not sure it would keep so think i have discounted this )

What would you do?

We dont have fresh tab water here, & we only use bottled water. It's the norm & so far no problems. Try to find bottles with the least minerals in them. xx

My OH's family live in Scotland and when i gave my LO the tap water up there he was really pained but he seemed okay when we boiled it. Bottled water would be fine also i should think xx

TBH I'd bring water from home that you know agrees with your LO, that's what I have done when we've gone away with LO anywhere. I'd fill up a big water bottle like they sell at the stores, the 3L ones?

why not just take a gallon of distilled water? here it costs $1

we used mineral water here as tap water is not safe to drink, just make sure you check the sodium content xx
