when can you use water that hasnt been boiled and cooled just out the tap ? when i do juice it takes so long to cool down

I still boil Josh's water (and it's mineral water)... I don't like the idea of tap water. In the city I live in the tap water smells like chlorine so bad!

Can't remember when we stopped boiling and cooling but when we did we bought a brita water filter! Only last 2 ish weeks have I not been filtering it!
