Sorry ladies... been a bit out of it today... so woke at 3.30am not feeling right... went and had a cup of tea and sat in the living room watching tv for a bit.... after about an hour I had not felt bubs move so got a bit panicked but went and got me some cold squash... at around 5 am I'd still not felt bubs move so called the hospital, they asked me to go in...
Got in to hospital and got hooked up, baby was fine just sleepy (not even a bottle of lucozade would wake it). Got a massive lecture from the midwife (evil bint) that even babies sleep at night and it was a waste of my/their time going in... so..
A) why in my notes does it explicitly say if I feel reduced movements or am worried I should call immediately
B) ask me to go in...
I cried a lot this morning.. it's bad enough thinking there is something wrong with your baby... let alone someone telling you off for just wanting it checked... I've not been to hospital (apart from routine scans) at all, this was my first time.. they were not busy but obviously I was an inconvenience to her...
the machine showed I was having contractions just not very strong and about 10 mins apart...
Got home about 8ish and ate some breakfast and then went to bed for a couple of hours...
Have had a warmish soak and watched some TV.. had some nice contractions coming every 6 mins or so but they've disappeared... seems like my body knows what is has to do just can't keep up...
Looks like we shall be back on Labour Ward at 8am tomorrow for induction.. which I didn't want no birth pool or anything..
